Get Out of Their Way
"Provide staff with the tools and skills to perform their roles and lead a project, and then let them do it. There may be errors along the way, there may be questions, but the only way to learn is to let them jump in and learn those valuable skills. This includes managing those unknowns, learning how to make a key decision on the spot, delegating, conflict resolution, etc."

Let Them Own Their Work
"In my experience, people not only work best when they're given ownership of their work and responsibilities. They learn best, as well. Show your management team that you trust them to make decisions in your absence. Give them the authority to be leaders, and the opportunity to explore roles outside of their primary job."

Give Them Goals to Reach
"You cannot micromanage your management team. Instead, focus on reaching targets to improve your business. The goal of a flourishing business is to build independence rather than have the owner control the whole production."

Help Them Develop Their Own, Unique Perspectives
"Leaders are leaders not only because of the culture they encourage, the successes they may have experienced, or their fancy job title. Leaders are leaders because of the unique perspectives and point of views they bring to the table when it comes to their particular industry or market."
